Recital pictures have been rescheduled. Unfortunately, our costumes will not be delivered in time. Recital pictures will now be Wednesday, May 29th at Photography by KJ. The schedule will remain the same.
The week of recital is slightly different. The schedule is designed to give the dancers a chance to practice on a bigger floor. The Community Theatre is rehearsing Footloose, so we are not allowed to have the stage the entire week as we are used to.

When the recital is over, parents may go to the dressing room to collect their dancer’s things. No food or drink (besides water) is allowed in the dressing rooms.
Please remember that our volunteers are there to help. They are not paid for their help and they should be treated with respect.

EXCITING NEWS!!!!!

Hello RADA!!

As many of you may have heard, we are opening a second location in Sergeant Bluff! This is such an exciting opportunity for our staff and dancers! Our new location is at 136 Gaul Drive in Sergeant Bluff. We will be having an open house on Thursday, May 23 from 6-8 PM. This will be a great chance for new dancers to meet our staff, and for old dancers to check out the new studio. Dancers will be able to register for classes, get information on our competitive teams, and purchase tickets to our dance recital! We hope to see you and your friends there!!

We will be in the Morningside Days Parade tomorrow (May 16). Anyone interested in being in the parade is more than welcome. We will meet on the east end of Morningside Avenue between Lemon and Cypress streets. Look for a big black truck with all of our trophies on it!! If you are walking with us, please wear a RADA shirt. If you do not have one, a pink or blue shirt will be fine :) Also, we would like everyone to bring a large bag of candy to throw out to the kids. Parent volunteers will be passing out flyers to adults and getting them to sign up for dance classes!! The parade starts at 6:30...we will be lining up at 5:45 and we are entry number 50 (some of our girls are in band at the beginning of the parade and begged to be able to run back and join us)

Just a reminder, our recital is June 1st at the Sioux City Community Theatre at 1:00 and 7:00. Tickets are on sale now!

Recital pictures will be May 22 at Photography by KJ. Please make sure you have gotten your picture envelopes and turn them into the studio by May 21. You will need a different picture form for each class, but include payment in just one.
